Electrifying Our Fleet:

By 2026, we will be adding electric vehicles to our delivery fleet. This initiative will further reduce our carbon footprint and support our sustainability goals.

Charging Points: Our head office will be equipped with electric charging points. This will enable our customers and colleagues to share our commitment to addressing the climate emergency and support the transition to sustainable transportation.

Optimised Delivery Routes:

Route Planning Software: The routes of our in-house delivery fleet are carefully considered and fully optimised using the latest route planning software. This helps minimise fuel consumption and reduce emissions.

Maximised Load Capacity: We maximise the load capacity of our delivery vehicles to reduce the number of trips required, further lowering our environmental impact.

Efficient Fleet Management:

Vehicle Maintenance: Our fleet is well maintained to ensure they operate efficiently. Ageing vehicles are replaced to reduce fuel consumption and emissions.

Fuel-Efficient Driving: Our drivers are trained in fuel-efficient driving techniques, such as smooth acceleration, maintaining steady speeds, and minimising idling. This training helps in reducing fuel usage and emissions.

Telematics and Data Analytics: We use telematics and data analytics to monitor fuel consumption, emissions, and route efficiency. This data-driven approach allows us to continuously improve our fleet's performance.

Sustainability Facilities:

LED Motion Detect Lighting: All lighting within our warehouse has been converted to the latest ‘LED motion detect lighting’ to reduce emissions and wasted electricity. This upgrade significantly decreases our energy consumption.

Waste Management: Our delivery service ensures all waste cardboard is 100% recycled and reused in partnership with our waste management providers. This commitment helps in reducing waste and conserving resources.

Plastic Recycling: All plastics are 100% recycled and reused by our waste management providers, ensuring that our plastic waste does not end up in landfills and contributes to a circular economy.
