Full Description

A high level low pressure alarm in a sewage treatment plant is installed to provide an alert when the water level in a tank or basin reaches a high level and the pressure in the system drops below a certain threshold. This can indicate that there is a problem with the system that needs to be addressed, such as a clogged or blocked pipe, malfunctioning pump, or other issues that could lead to a backup or overflow of sewage.

The alarm will sound a buzzer noise, along with a flashing light indicator, to notify plant operators that there is a problem that needs to be addressed. This can help prevent serious damage to the system or the environment, and ensure that the treatment process is functioning properly.

In addition to alerting the user, high level low pressure alarms can also be connected to automated systems that can take corrective action, such as shutting down pumps or diverting flow to prevent backups or overflows. Overall, the function of a high level low pressure alarm is to help ensure the safe and effective operation of a sewage treatment plant.
